Buena Park, a city in southern California, is a central hub for family-friendly fun in the sun attractions, including the famed Knott’s Berry Farm amusement park. Situated in northwestern Orange County, the city is not far from the metropolitan behemoth of Los Angeles. Being such an exciting region packed with spots for activity, their Visitors Guide needed to convey a light-hearted sense of fun.

A major aid in bringing Buena Park’s Visitor Guide to the next level of excitement rested on the quality of their images. Fortunately, their photo library was full of colorful professional shots. Despite the book’s text copy being on the lengthy side, I was able to strike a healthy balance between copy and imagery to maximize the publication’s visual impact. The client was overjoyed with the layout of the finished book.
