At the base of the Front Range Mountains in Colorado is the city of Brighton, a suburb of Denver. The city’s rich agricultural history continues today with several active farms and a thriving agritourism region. As an area packed with family-friendly activities, the Visitors Guide needed to convey a sense of fun while maintaining ease of readability for travelers.

The imagery-to-copy ratio provided by the client lent itself to creating a balance between an “airy” design and the use of gridded columns on pages where the copy is dense. I particularly enjoyed using the client’s brand standard forest green color scheme throughout the guide as it perfectly suited the region’s agricultural industry. Keeping visual appeal by utilizing the previously mentioned airy-to-dense balance proved to be the key to creating a successful guide that the client loved.
